Olds 98 dies when I stop and after a few minutes will start back up and go. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I haven't had any where to check for codes. But I did notice that when it dies the word hot flashes above temp gauge but temp gauge shows its in the middle not on hot side. I'm a girl, sorry I don't have more technical response lol.
