Looking to replace evap coil on Olds 88. 1997 yr. I'm a A/C tech old school residential /commercial. What I need help with is how much difficulty involved. As well as how many things I need to remove to get to it. I haven't confirmed the leak yet. How ever I have been over as much of the A/C lines, compressor, condesor etc as I can with a leak detector found none as of yet. Suspect evap leak. Any other common places leaks in this model car that u may know of that I can check please let me know. Thanks

Use UV sensitive dye for a/c along with enough R134 to cycle compressor then use the UV light to locate leak - check a/c condensation drain tube for evap leak. That big bulge on passenger side firewall covers the evap coil - along with the HVAC case behind dash. You do not want to tackle that install - it ain’t worth it.
The uv dye is the ONLY way to go these days - the old school leak detectors did a good job for the times - them times are over.. (Retired after working on em for a lifetime)
