My driver side break light and rear blinker don't work how come?

Owner; Unless your vehicle has amber turn signals, the brake lamp circuit goes into and out of the turn signal switch, because when the turn signal is chosen, the brake lamp is cancelled on that side, there for a faulty turn signal switch MAY be the issue your vehicle has, and a professional diagnosis, or some testing with a 12v test light, would give you a solution.

Possible bad tail light socket

I agree with all answers! .. To the vehicle owner > Replace the bulb first .. The same 'dual element' bulb illuminates turn signal/brake light AND the tail light .. IF the one bulb element that serves the brake and turn signal light has failed BUT the other 'tail light element' is still in tact .. That will surely cause this problem... I just didn't see anything about trying bulb replacement posted in your question! .. Somewhere within these answers is the solution to your problem with this vehicle!
