I stopped at the store, its never failed to start, then coming out of the store I got into the car, it made a funny sound, and now nothing the starter isnt movin at all. Im thinkin maybe a cable broke off the starter, I have power when I turn the key everything works except the fuel gage goes why past the full mark and the engine light comes on.

TEST > While a helper holds key to START position .. Tap starter motor with hammer or like tool .. IF starter responds at all (attempts to crank engine) .. Replace the starter!!
Thanks, I put in the garage, the whole underneath is pretty rusted, the car was givin to me and this is the first time it has ever done this, when I was goin around a curve before it done this I heard something clickin I thought it was the wheel doin it but once I was on a straight road it stopped, I went over a railroad track, Im hopin maybe the cable to the starter broke, it did click when I first tried then nothin at all.
Best I can remember- these cars have TWO positive battery cables .. Common for corrosion to build up between the two cables at the battery terminal and cause problems as well .. Good luck with the outcome!
(Let us know what it turns out to be, may help others with same problem.)
