Engine cuts off when air conditioning is turned on, won’t restart until you pull the ignition switch relay

The engine cuts off when the car ac is turned on, and won’t start again until the ignition switch relay is pulled and replaced. I have tried this with the ac belt on, with it off, and with the ac compressor disconnected. Is this a problem with the ac switch? Computer? short in the system somewhere? After the engine cuts out, everything has power, but it won’t turn over until I pull that relay
