Sure wish u got an answer on this one. Mine too. But i do know it wouldn't have CV's in the front unless it's a 4x4. Mines 2 wheel drive and makes that noise. if that helps.
That's a different scenario all together!!.. You actually own & drive a TWO WHEEL DRIVE NISSAN EXTERA????... Why??.. 4 WD is the only thing it's got going for it!!!!.. To each his own I guess...
Well i did. Stepson wrecked it couple weeks back. Never had a more reliable truck. Insurance rates cheaper with a 2 wheel anyway. at least thats what i've heard.
Never even seen one here in VA... However it is a bit different climate here so I guess the 4x4 is much more popular... It's all good!!
Ever had any dealings with older Jags? May pick one up today. A 94 XJS low miles.
Some but it's been several years back now of course. .. Just the six cylinder version. I liked the car, no real problems out of the few I had dealings with. I think they're better than this new stuff they have out now but I can't really say I'm qualified to say that for sure! It's just not that many around in my county..
Ok thx. Didnt get it. Tranny had a clunk on every up and downshift.
Is this hard to fix myself?
Well I don't know your skill level or tool box arsenal.... Check out YouTube for a how to vid then you decide! You may want to have a mechanic test drive to confirm...that's all a good 'mechanic' needs to do, very distinct sound these CV Joints make when replacement is needed!!
