Having trouble turning over my engine

What is your question?

I ran out of gas so I put in about 3 gals to get to the gas station but then my car just would not start up. So my question would be what could be the problem with my car???

Do you mean it won't start after running out of fuel and then refueling? If you tried and tried to start the engine with no fuel in the tank, you could have burnt out the fuel pump.
