What is your question?
Xterra 3.3 Starts fine when cooled off but after warmed up real good it has no spark after i shut it off and try to restart .If I wait 1 to 2 hrs it starts like never had a problem . Will run fine till I shut it off and strong smell of gas if I keep cranking it. So plenty of gas . Just no spark went out to eat ran good came out about 30 min later no start. Cranked real good . Strong gas after I kept trying. Waited about 30 more minutes started and I drove home. Shut it off and would do the same.back to no spark.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Only when warmed up to operating temp
How long has your 2000 Nissan Xterra had this problem?
Was my moms she parked it for the same reason. So I purchased it for cheap.

Indicative of a failing crankshaft position sensor - recommend *hands-on* testing by qualified personnel. Another common problem for the 3.3L is *Distributor* malfunctions - however that is usually accompanied by rough running / poor performance after engine reaches operating temperature but can result in a no spark condition - thus the need for TESTING.
Some of the aftermarket distributors are junk! Have good luck with NAPA parts.
