Why is my car burning oil?

Better have it checked for a leak!

I, too, have a 2011 Nissan versa. I noticed it was burning oil quickly and the check engine light came on. Engine started riding rough so I had it towed to a mechanic. Found out that my number three cylinder had very low to almost 0 compression. Which means I need a new engine! He found all the oil when he pulled the spark plug out and could literally see his reflection. Please let me know what you discover as I am filing complaints with Nissan. Nissan consumer affairs will not repair or help with a new engine. And this car only has 77,000 miles.
