I had the transmission and motor replaced in my 2010 Nissan Versa with one from a 2013. The check engin light stays on. I cannot drive the car faster than 20mph before it jerks and the skid light comes on.

When I accelerate 20mph the car makes a jerking back and forth as if skidding on ice and the skid light comes on. This occurred after replacing the motor and transmission with one from a 2013 Nissan. Will combination work? I did not have this problem before the engine and transmission failed (one after the other go figure). Help me...the mechanic is trying.

What makes this problem better or worse?

It is worse when I acceralate above 20mph
