In that case it wasn't installed correctly!!... There can be NO > (ZERO) leaks anywhere from the air cleaner to the intake manifold in that tube ("boot") .. Re-check the install to make sure all connections are correct and secure... Also check for any electrical wire connectors that may have been left unhooked ! .. Yellow check engine light staying on now?
