What is your question?
I am thinking of buying a 2005 Nissan Sentra from someone. She says the car has not started in over a year so they leave it in their driveway but this year decided to sell. She says the mechanic told her it was due to electrical problems which cannot fix. I thought of offering her $600 and having it repaired by my mechanic who knows electrical works in cars. I don't know the details of the problem other than the car is immobile. Am I making a mistake in buying this car? Thanks a lot. Margie QC, Canada
What makes this problem better or worse?
Car does not start.
How long has your 2005 Nissan Sentra had this problem?
Car is not mine. I'm thinking of buying it and getting it fixed.
I really can’t fathom what the other ‘mechanic’ found that can not be fixed - therefore it seems *hands-on* inspection / evaluation by qualified personnel will be required - at least for another option. I’m sure you’re familiar with the term - “buying a pig in a poke” .. Purchasing a vehicle that is not operational is just that. Good luck!
