The person stated that the car had just been service. However, I took to a mechanic and it has to be repair!! I could take back where i brought it and they can repair it for 450!! should I have to pay them when they didn't disclose what was actually wrong with the car??
........Uhm.......sorry but I believe the term we would use in No. Va. & D.C. area would be ...........you got screwed.....Best bet at this point , is to check about the emissions repair laws in D.C. , and if they are anything like Va. then you might only have to spend up to a specified amount of money attempting to get it past , but again I say , check the rules- should receive some info at emissions test facility , also maybe online , BEFORE you spend to much more$$$!!!
yea I kind of figure that out. Va does have emissions inspections.. however DC does! and so my car has to have the catalytic converter replace and camshaft has be replace too.
CHECK THE LAWS!!! THERE MAY BE A LIMIT TO HOW MUCH YOU HAVE TO SPEND AND IT MAY NEED TO BE AT A 'CERTIFIED' REPAIR SHOP. Or hope the place doing the repairs gets it right the first time!
I am going back to the place where I brought.. I don't know if I SHOULD EVEN trust them!I can get it fix up here and pay 650. I know they will do it right!. I guess its all on how much I WANT TO spend .. but you know what they said you get what you pay for!
