What is your question?
I just had a front ball bearing replaced and a CV axel. It took 4 trips to the mechanic to get it right. It's a 1997 with 162,000 miles on it. The vehicle has more wheel issues like the back brake cylinder. It's hard to know whether it is time to give it up and spend savings on something newer or to continue to invest in this Nissan. Your experiences with these situations would be appreciated.

This is my opinion and experience from working a 'very long time' in the automotive field..... The Sentra is a pretty reliable vehicle to begin with... It depends on your financial situation but if it were me, I'd spend the money fixing the Nissan PROPERTY as it will last a lot longer than 162,000 miles... As a rule if thumb, it's capable of 300k miles without any major problems... I see them do this quite often at the shop!.. Of course it's up to you..... Now, if you (and dog) simply just want a new car and it's not going to put you in a financial bind at all.. Go for it!... Good idea to stay with an Asian or maybe even a Domestic vehicle and leave the European money pits on the lot!! .. As for the warranty, make them explain it to you and put it in writing until you understand everything about it, ask questions.... Good luck to you whatever you decide!
