In the mornings when I turn the engine on everything's fine well it comes to the point of warming up the engine shuts off after that it just spins and spins but will not stay on I was wondering if anybody can help me with that?

Just bought this 2000 Nissan quest drove it 30 mi from where I bought it to my house just before I got to my house which is 10 MI it was really really hot I have to pulled over on the freeway and the gauges were going crazy temperature and gas gauge that we're all moving erratically after that got it home started it up the next day turned on just fine once I got to the point where the engine was warming up and the gauge was going to warm that's when it shuts off and it won't start after that..?oh yeah and I just discovered a leak on one of the cylinders inside I guess it's water cuz it does not look like coolant could that be the problem I do not know?

What makes this problem better or worse?

What makes the problem better is when I do not turn it on for a while then it'll turn on again to the point where it gets warmed up and then shuts off and then it won't turn out no more

How long has your 2002 Nissan Quest had this problem?
