My lights on the back don't turn off..when van is off..when it on the one on the drivers side those not turn on.

check the brake light switch plunger,connector.may be broken or out of adjustment.

The plastic contact button on the brake light switch is known to dry out and break. It can be replaced with a boly through the hole the button mounted in.
