How do you manually open rear hatch on 2014 Nissan Pathfinder when the auto open feature fails?

‘IF’ can hear actuator respond (attempting to release) - possible jammed door latch - sit inside put feet on hatch - try to force open .... IF no luck - seek professional *hands-on* assistance. Otherwise diy repair attempt will result in trim panel damage. Good luck!
