What is your question?
My 1999 Nissan Pathfinder ac works great. Now it is winter and my heater only blows out luke warm air when heater is on. I get plenty of air out but doesn't get any warmer then mild at best. What do I need to do to fix the heater?
What makes this problem better or worse?
The heater problem stays the same whether it's warm engine or cold engine
How long has your 1999 Nissan Pathfinder had this problem?
Just noticed within past month as temps drop in utah

Hello, Start by checking your coolant level (when the engine is cold). If it is low, fill it up with the heater running. Next, make sure the engine coolant temperature gauge is showing that it is warm. If not, the thermostat may be stuck open or missing, and this will prevent the engine from getting completely warm while running. Lastly, look under the dashboard, and ensure that the blend door is moving when you move the lever on the dashboard from cold to hot. If it is not moving all the way to warm, it could be cutting off the supply of hot air from the heater core. Also, if there is a heater control valve under the hood of the vehicle, the temperature lever will be connected to that instead.
Simple test : While the engine is at *normal operating temperature* - BOTH heater hoses should be as HOT as the upper radiator hose is .. Post test results for more information.
