i have no codes coming up and no engine light on. i have drove at 300 miles and still the EGR system and oxygen sensors show as "not complete". how do i clear these so i can pass my smog test?

you can't clear it/them,there are no codes to clear.when the computer sets the monitors to ready, then you can get it inspected.was the battery unhooked for some reason,is that why they are showing not ready?
the codes were cleared several times after having a mechanic work on it until there were no codes left. basically when i go to get smogged, the guy has been checking the Readiness Indicators for the computer and the EGR and oxygen still come up incomplete. so ive been trying to figure out if there is a certian drive cycle i have to do to get those to say incomplete. Any tips, suggestions? there are no codes coming up, no engine light
I UNDERSTAND.YOU HAD SOME THINGS/SENSORS FIXED/REPLACED.you cleared the codes with a code reader or unhooked the battery after the car was fixed.normally it only takes a couple of days of normal driving, stop and go driving, around town, interstate driving,a/c on,a/c off, heat on,heat off.usually 50-200 miles for computer to set all monitors to READY!i have done this before on my ford truck.but the emissions standards must be different in CA!which i know they are.but in NC on a 2000 model vehicle, the DMV allows 2 monitors to NOT be ready, and it will pass.that is what happened to me.i had 2 not ready and 6 ready.only thing i can say is drive it.and good luck.post results!
