2013 Nissan Titan, could dirty mass airflow sensor cause it not to start?

What is your question?

Started shaking when accelerating then would die immediately after starting. Had to be towed to dealership. Dealership said a bug was in mass airflow sensor... does this sound right?

It's very possible! Anything blocking the actual MAF 'sensor' can have those results.
