My warning display/dot matrix liquid crystal display went blank?

They did not bother to reset. They said they would have replace the instrument cluster for about $1,300.00. My car was about 900 miles and 5 months out of warranty. I called Nissan and stated my case. They approved the replacement under warranty in about 3 weeks. I appreciate Nissan and them standing behind the vehicle. They could of said no. Thank you Nissan.

Possibly the result of an open in the supply circuit to the display unit.! .....Technically speaking, a 'blowed' fuse!
