Accelerator hesitates

What is your question?

When I take off from a stop, the car hesitates to take off, my foot is on the accelerator to the floor, and the car doesn't want to take off. After pressing on the accelerator for a few seconds, it suddenly takes off. There are no lights on the dash indicating anything is wrong, I've had it looked at and after 2.5 hours, they found nothing...

What makes this problem better or worse?

It's worse when it's been driven for about 20 mins

Has knowledgeable mechanic test driven vehicle so this concern can be experienced first hand?

Test driving should be the first step when attempting diagnosis - and the last step to confirm successful repair.. Having scan tool connected during test drive is very useful .. Scan tool should have capability of running / recording a movie so data parameters can be observed afterwards. Good luck!
