Thank You for your reply. I did a once over with the brake pads and other parts, also looked under the hood and noticed that the brake fluid level was just above the minimum level. I topped it off to about 1/2, and what do you know, the lights did not come back on during my last several drives where usually they would come on almost instantly when the car was put into gear!
That's great. Usually with the traction control light it has something to do with the ABS so that's why I mentioned the test. Good luck. If the brake fluid was low, better check your brake wear. Could be getting low.
