I have a 2007 Murano that I bought new and only has 96000 miles on it. The brake light started this after the weather starting getting below freezing. The brakes are working fine, just wondering why the brake light is on when I first crank the car but goes off after the car gets warmed up. Has anyone else had this happen to them.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Brake light comes when the engine is cold, goes off after it warms up
How long has your 2007 Nissan Murano had this problem?
Started after the weather got below freezing temperatures

Top off brake fluid in master cylinder .... Recommend having brake pads inspected for ware - as brake pads wear down - fluid level drops accordingly - “cold weather†will actually decrease fluid level as well - sometimes it doesn't take much to illuminate dash light. When light is on - apply park brake while closely watching light - IF light brightens up slightly - brake fluid is low!
I’m probably wasting my time here as it seems nobody ever reads these answers but : This may also be an issue with the park brake warning light - especially if you use them each time vehicle is parked.. HAPPY MOTORING TO YA..
