What is your question?
We are a Toyota people. Just had an accident and looked at a Juke, 2012. Know nothing about them. After agreeing to buy I researched and now I'm afraid I made a big mistake. Lots of reports on problems with Turbo, Fuel line, stalling while driving AND Timing Chain problems. Salesman didn't even tell us it uses premium gas. I know, STUPID US!!! Supposed to pick it up today. Any helpful comments? Can I back out now? Already put down payment. Any good things to say about the 2012 Juke??? Thanks.

Hello, Nissan, like other Japanese brands, makes reliable vehicles. The Juke does not stand out to me as a vehicle to avoid, but if you are looking for the pinnacle of reliability in a well-equipped economy car, get a Corolla or Civic. As far as down payment, you have to look at your contract with the seller.
The Juke is generally pretty reliable. They did have a recall on the timing chains and associated parts on the 2011-2013 model years. You can contact your local Nissan dealer and have them run the vin to see if the recall applies and if its been done yet. If you don't have a fuzzy feeling about buying it, are you still obligated at this point? You mentioned you hadn't picked up yet so maybe you can get out of it? You want to feel good about a car purchase and although I don't think you have anything to worry about, sometimes you have to listen to your gut. Alex
At the shop - we do not find any inherent problems with this particular vehicle .. IF you search the web - you are probably going to find some unhappy owners .. A lot of times - these problems are self induced due to lack of proper maintenance - plus poor driving habits. On this page: https://repairpal.com/nissan-juke-2012/problems
