Only occurs during summer months. Runs great as long as the weather is cool.

i had the exact same problem with my 2000 nissan frontier. i fixed it by changing the distributor. i hope this helps took me a couple weeks to figure it out myself

Fuel injection 4 cylinder 5 speed will crank up run fine for the first 25 miles or so. Then starts to fluxurate in RPM's until eventually losing all power doesn't kill off just won't pull. If turned off will crank right backup. Once again this only happens during hot weather.
