Strong possibly of incorrect **ignition timing** resulting in pre-ignition (spark knock) .. Start troubleshooting there.

I donâ€™t know your skill level or experience with this particular problem - *pre ignition* (advanced ignition timing) will produce a rattling sound upon acceleration (engine load). *Ignition timing* set to high - possibly incorrect distributor placement .. â–ªï¸ 2.4L engine â–ªï¸ â€˜Experiencedâ€™ mechanic can quickly determine via short test drive.
