What is your question?
Car currently has a P0101 which was diagnosed by the team at Nissan Stockton, a software download was done and upon receiving the vehicle I noticed that the engine was still on, I then looked at the mass air flow sensor boxing and noticed everything was fine then I restarted the car and the light disappeared. The next morning another light appeared and a code of U0100 and again a software download was performed and the vehicle did great for 5 days, on Monday the vehicle as I was backing into a parking space the warning lights appeared and a scan was done and the code P0101 is back again. Last night 2/11 it again reappeared but showed up at least 2x and each powering off the vehicle(it has done this before). After speaking with a master mechanic from nissan this was his observation "It isn't a flatline code, I've seen people drive around with it for weeks or months before getting it serviced. So there must be something more serious going on in your ride, maybe an A/F sensor or fuel pump
What makes this problem better or worse?
it has oddly happened and up until last week I had never had an issues in the 7 months of having the vehicle.
How long has your 2019 Nissan Altima had this problem?
2 weeks

We can’t do anything the technicians aren’t. They’ve got the advantage of having the vehicle present for *hands-on* evaluation.
Agree with Pushrod. I know it's frustrating to you as the owner of the vehicle, and having the dealership technicians inspect the vehicle with no success thus far. However, those folks, especially during the warranty period, are in the absolute best place to assist you in resolving the concern with your vehicle. Don't forget that in California (assuming "Stockton" is Stockton, CA), you have recourse for multiple repair visits and days out of service with the "Lemon Law" -- If you've had to have the vehicle in 3 times for this concern on this young vehicle (and you are under 36,000 miles) you do have some rights that you can pursue should you not get satisfaction from your dealership. That said, ultimately the vehicle needs to be repaired. And it will be. Service bulletins I have read related to this code indicate software updates need to be performed -- but to do that after repairs are made to the concern itself. It may be difficult to troubleshoot, but with time and patience it will be resolved. Be in touch with the service manager of your dealership for best assistance. Good luck.
I have a 2013 nissan altima. In 2019 I had the same problem. This awesome place I go to called Red Label Automotive found out there was a recall. The dealer had to do some things after changing it, and then they had to do a (I can't remember what they called it...a flush?) They had to reset the computer chip. 2 and a half years later, it's happening again, although this time, I am having a difficult time finding the recall or that it ever even existed. What did u end up doing?? Maybe you can help me?
Gentleman, I appreciate the feedback that has been provided. It has been a very frustrating situation and I do believe there is not enough being done. Especially for such a very scary situation of the car dying while in traffic now about 6 times. And not one person can determine the extent of the situation is outrageous.
