What is your question?
55000 miles, regular oil and filter change at or before every 5000 miles per recommendation. It started using a little oil ( less than a quart low on last oil change ) after a minor accident, cosmetic damage only. Recently had been blowing blue smoke then running rough after the last oil change (54400 miles), mechanic said there was low pressure/blow-by in cylinder 1 but resolved during leak down test. The car still blows blue smoke when starting unless it sits for a day or two and gives a puff of blue smoke when accelerating from a stop. Seems to be burning about 1.5 to 3quarts every 300 miles depending on how hard it is driven. Should I be looking for a new car or is it worth getting the engine rebuilt/replaced?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Starting and accelerating from a stop

Your Nissan has / had a warranty for the engine for 5 years / 60,000 miles. Depending on your "warranty start date", you may have some recourse with Nissan. I would make an effort to see your local Nissan dealership for an evaluation. This is one of those times where relationship is everything. I realize that especially here on RepairPal, there is an interest in non-dealer shops for maintenance and repairs - and for often good cause. The thing is, when you service at the dealership for normal maintenance -- if this happens, you're almost for sure going to be taken care of for a warranty repair. Even a goodwill warranty repair, if you're just outside of 5 years / 60,000 miles. But, if you never set foot inside a dealership after the purchase, and don't patronize the dealership service department, the "loyalty" factor is in question from all manufacturers for goodwill assistance consideration. I'd still give it a shot -- under 60,000 miles and about 5 years old with that much oil consumption is quite excessive. If you have all maintenance records, you have a good case regardless. Good luck!
Since I don’t see anything posted about a REASON why from this mechanic - I think it would be wise to have another mechanic check your engine out so the actual problem can be discovered.. Is it a broken piston ring ? - - Oil ponding in valve cover ? - - Valve guide worn ? Good luck!
Testing can be performed without engine disassembly.
