What is your question?
I was getting a pretty bad oil leak so I looked under the hood of my 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 SV and there was an oil build up around the engine coil packs and also inside the spark plug tubes. So I replaced the valve cover gasket and figured I would change the spark plugs while I was in there. As I was tightening l the first spark plug with a torque wrench the spark plug just kept spinning. I imagine I stripped something in there and don’t know what to do now.. I’ve heard helicoil come up but not sure I could tackle that myself. How much do you imagine a mechanic would charge for this?

Better leave it to a pro or get *hands-on* assistance from qualifying personnel. It’s not rocket science but specific procedures need to be followed. A repair kit is available that includes the tap tool and correct steel insert - shop probably charge $75.00 to do the work - however you’d need to confirm.
