experiencing a crank no start with a stored code 34 for knock sensor

I think it tell you the your timing is off or out could be timing belt or a simple knock sensor for the timing to be set in the pcm

Have some CRANK sensor problems on this engine, without code! Scan test a must to check for signal from crank sensor.-------Or just guess at it.
