What is your question?
Hi, I have about 112,000 on my car. I started hearing clicking noise when I turned my wheel when I'm at stop or driving very slow so I went to a shop and checked out what the problem is by lifting the car in the air. I found out that the front lower control arm bushing and Tie Rod bushing are all worn off. All 4 of them. So 2 each side (Left and Right). Right side bushings are totally worn off now so whenever I stop or accelerate I hear loud noise from the right side. Steering got a little more heavy. I was told that it will cost $136 for the labor work. Thing is... I live in Southern California in Orange County. I don't really know good mechanic who I could trust and has reasonable pricing. What will be the best option for me at this situation? I'm not rich I'm 22 year old so I would appreciate it so much if you could provide me with different options as to how I can go about this.
$136 just for the labor work. Parts cost total around $400 including bushing.
Still , if that labor includes an alignment , and the parts are OEM (or equivalent) , then it's a good deal.
i said $136 is ONLY the installment labor fee are you really just commenting? I know more than you and your comments are so useless. Stop acting like you're so professional. I won't even listen to your fake and useless advice which any 3 year old can give.
Good luck pal! That attitude will certainly get you far.................(maybe as far as a three year old?) I'm not the 22 year old sucker that knows only enough to buy a car that looks good sitting still.............if that..........nevermind...english as a second language is also not your strong point............
I recently had the same problem on my 2004 nissan 350z. I have some experience with cars and enjoy doing my own work. I purchased there parts myself, narrowed the tools from a local parts store, and did it myself. My mistake was not ordering the parts assembled. If you do this I suggest you replace both upper and lower as it is not that expensive to include ball joints and "A" arms as it is easier to assemble that way. Although 135 is cheap and is well worth it but you need to buy the parts as that is where they will soak you. You can buy very cheaply on line and get good parts. Good luck
