need some help on a 81 280Z 5-speed 2.8 missing in gears 1-3

its most likely missing in all gears but u just don't feel it unless your under heavy load. look for plug wires shorting out or bad plugs to start with. you can mist the wires lightly with water and poss see them arching to grounds inside a garage.
