Check for battery voltage in AND out of brake light switch... Also possible multifunction switch has failed!... Yes, that's right... the multifunction switch!!!!!
When pedal is NOT depressed, there is only one hot wire (IN).. When pedal IS depressed, there should be two hot wires (IN & OUT)!!!... The miltifunction switch is the signal, dimmer etc mounted on steering column.... Yes that can cause NO brake lights ... IF you have voltage on BOTH wires at brake light switch!
I can check the voltage in and out of the brake light switch if I knew which was coming in and going out. Where is the multifunction switch located.
