how do i calibrate a tps on a 1990 mitsubishi montero

Does your tps have an elongated slot where the screws go in to hold it on? If so that is an adjustable tps and you need to set it by voltage. Report back. Alex

Your manual should show a specific voltage at idle but try .5 volts.

Less than 1 volt - closed throttle to over 4 volts - wide open throttle.
