I'm trying to change the breaks on my front two tires of my car and the lugnuts are loosened and the car is jacked up but the tire will not budge and come off. Is there a trick to taking them off?

spray some PB Blaster around the wheel studs so it drains down on the hub surface, screw one lug nut back on about half way only.use about a 3 lb hammer, hit the back side of the TIRE with the hammer until it pops the wheel loose. corrosion under there.
'IF' the BFH don't work, this may help > Loosen lug nuts but DO NOT REMOVE .. Spray wheels and lug studs liberally with WD-40 .. Shift transfer case into 4x4 .. Drive vehicle around **IN YOUR DRIVEWAY ONLY** turning left then right .. They'll come loose! .. A little anti-seize compound on back side of wheels will prevent this - just in case you have a flat out on the road somewhere!
