there is NO telling what all you fried! i just don't see how that could happen! PLUS and NEGATIVE sign shown on every battery! RED cable to positive and BLACK cable to negative! TEST ALL FUSES WITH A TEST LIGHT,with the key turned to on! if you got lucky, then only some fuses have blown or the MAIN fuse? if you didn't get lucky, then computer and no telling what else is fried!
I know what you're thinking, what an idiot, and there's no excuse, but here's what happened, I took the old battery out and brought it down to the store, the store did not have the exact same battery so I bought a different one , unfortunately the polls were reversed, so when I got home it was about to storm , my wife just got home from a trip, road trip, and she was complaining about washing her car and a stupid hose nozzle that I took off when she was gone. nag , nag, nag, I mean it was 10 minutes of constant nagging, it's starting to rain I threw the battery in connected and went to start it, to thats's the story, so the question is where do I go from here, I am going to try to research more on YouTube and called the local dealer, thanks for any help you can give me, Mike
sorry for being so blunt or SA sounding..just see that a lot here, and some get lucky and some don't and only to blow the MAIN fuse..i know all about the nag nag nag! don't know why, only been married for 40 years.shes a nagging now cause i'm watching in the heat of the night, and she wants to watch SOAPS,so i sent her to her bedroom to another TV!.anyways, try and borrow a volt meter or you might have one or just a test light(a cheap one at the parts store will work)..turn the key to ON,NOT START. test each fuse on both sides of the fuse, the light will light up if it's good..do this on every fuse you can find..you can test ALL fuses in less than 10 minutes on the vehicle..good luck and post findings..
