Can I use a blend door actuator from another make car if the part number matches

I am getting a knocking sound when I run my a/c. I pulled the glove box and when I put my hand on the actuator I can feel it knocking. When I contact my local parts stores they all tell me the part is dealer only. I don't want to pay dealer prices and there are no Mitsubishi dealers around me. When I typed the part number into Google I am seeing that it comes up as an actuator for 2002-2006 Toyota Camry and Rav 4 and Tundra. If the part number is the same can I use this part even though it is showing for a different make and model? When I call the parts store they tell me they have an actuator for a 2006 Camry.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing. It only stops when I shut the a/c off.
