My 2001 galants heat dont work and temp guage shows it is overheating
What is your question?
plus the hoses going into the firewall stay cold would it just be the thermostat whats your answer

If i's running hot and the heater hoses are cold, maybe you're low on coolant. Check your coolant first. if

I agree with#1 but it could be a head gskt problem I would fill the cooling system and pressure test for leak
