It's a 2003. I also have a 99 eclipse, can I use parts from the 99 eclipse to repair my 2003? My back right shock just broke and problems with the clutch

if you are sure the water is not leaking from a clogged A/C condensation drain, then get inside the car in the floor with a flash light..get someone to run/spray water on/all over the car,see if you can see where the water is coming in at.as far as parts interchanging for the 99 and the 03,call a parts store and ask them to look up whatever you need for both years, see if they are the same part numbers for both, because there are several different models, different engine sizes, which may or may not make a difference. or you could just look them up yourself on their web-site.NAPA,ADVANCE,AUTOZONE,O'REILLY'S...
I bet if you lift the trunk there are two holes one on each side that allow water to escape. They are located in the ridge that the trunk sits in when closed, they get clogged and the water will run down behind your backseat and if you are parked on a slope the water ends up pooling on either the passenger side floor of the drivers depending on gravity.
