What is your question?
I'll be driving for about 30 or 40 minutes and my car will be running fine then the rpms go to 0 and all the dash lights come on then my car won't start unless I sit for 5 minutes then it will start up again but it will do the same thing it has a brand new battery starter fuel pump and filter
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse when the engine is hot
How long has your 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse had this problem?

Hard to say without checking spark and fuel pressure when problem happens. Might have computer control issue or possible something easy like a throttle plate very dirty. Also could have possible bag connection at battery. Would need to have car in shop and have problem happen before we start jumping to a bunch of solutions that are not fact.
*Hands-on* testing IS required - usually - the only thing online guessing leads to is more confusion.

I'm getting good spark checked that I have a brand new computer on it and I checked the battery terminals
