My 2009 Mini Cooper was working about 3 years ago but then my wife lost the key with the window down. So some water damaged the passenger side fuse box, but after I replaced the fuse box, the engine cranks but it doesn’t start. All the fuses seem fine. What should I do?

I basically checked everything electric wise. But the one thing I’m kinda iffy about is that some of the cables connecting into the fuse box are a little bit corroded, so I think I am going to replace those. But honestly the corrosion isn’t that bad, so the car should start. Do you have any advice that may help?
