Here is a link for code research: â–ªï¸http://www.autocodes.com/p0303_mini.htmlâ–ªï¸ Smoke vapor test is most effective method of searching for vacuum leak. Often a moderate to severe vacuum leak can be detected by listening. Spraying water on suspected area while engine is idling will change engine rpm as vacuum pulls H20 into intake.
The best way is a smoker machine but if you don't have one you can use brake clean at your own risk. It works well but can be dangerous as it very flamible. I've seen some people use a spray bottle with water and spray around the intake, and vacuum tubes. Pay attention to a drop or increase in rpm depending on what you use. Alex
Good morning we use the smoke test method with a Bosch Smoke Machine for $125.00 we will diagnose your car. Thank you for your inquiry. Sincerely Dave Slotte
