Why wont My van go anywhere when I shift into gear. Is this def my transmission?

No, it just sounds like the gears are spinning but wont catch on.

When you put it in gear and give it gas does the speedodometer move/register? Will park still keep it from rolling? Any fluid leaking underneath? Axle may be popped out of diff. Another probem this trans. is noted for is torque converter/turbine shaft splines stripping!
