battery light keeps coming on and off but eventually stays on longer

I think my computer doesn't like me. This is the 3rd reply of gratitude for your reply. Simply put my previous wife sold all my tools and meters to test everything. I know it so basic to check all grounds and cables. It started after I picked up the car to have a new starter installed. I am disabled with back problems waiting for surgery but I'm not dead and still a gearhead at 61 and planning to build a 63-65 Falcon or 68 Cougar with decent heads. Thanks again, God bless.
