Suspect IAC valve>>Idles Air Control Valve is most likely faulty. lots of same problems on the Mercury Sable and the Ford Taurus with the IAC valve. TSB #96223 NHTSA ID #50942

In addition - clean out all of the throttle body coking and replace all pcv valve hoses and the valve... > Motorcraft parts.. You are probably going to need some qualified *hands on* help.
