What is your question?
mechanic is off until Friday had sensor changed last week light came on today oil pressure gauge dropped all the way down the light came on saying low oil pressure I have plenty of oil the SUV is not overheating. Want to drive to Advance Auto have them run a diagnostic test b 4 taking it back 2 the repair shop I took it 2. How do we determine if it is the oil pump or the sensor or something else. I know I have 2 small oil leaks per my mechanic he told me it's nothing for me to worry about since I don't drive a lot and I never see oil leaking in my garage or on the ground Help Please

Hello, a "diagnostic test" at an auto parts store will not help you determine if you have ample base oil pressure. In truth, if your oil pressure is truly in question, I'd be concerned about base engine concerns overall, which would mean major repairs. I do not now how much driving your vehicle further helps or hinders the situation. It could bee a sending unit or a wiring issue. Neither will be something you can figure out at "Advance Auto". It's not about an oil leak. It's more about internal oil pressure which can be influenced by an oil filter that is not working allowing proper flow, improper engine oil grade, an ineffective oil pump, or other restriction. Unless there is a history of vehicle lack of maintenance or mechanical issues, it seems to me that it is unlikely you have an actual oil pressure issue. Hands on inspection near you is what is most important.
*Mechanic* can test the actual oil pressure using a test gauge - parts stores sell parts! Until this has been properly tested - probably best to refrain from driving vehicle.. We can’t possibly determine exactly what the problem is nor the consequences. Good luck with it!
