you have a emission issue with your vehicle. You will need to have the computer checked for codes with a scanner. There may be a diagnostic charge or auto zone can do it for free. It is something that needs to b checked so not to cause additional problems

did you check the fuel filler cap? Mine did the same and a new cap fixed it for a while. Now the fuel line pressure sensor causes it to stay on. W hen I put the new cap on I disconnected the battery to reset the computer.
