Hello, there is no correlation between the restraint systems of the vehicle and the clutch / transmission / pressure plate of the vehicle. There is a chance that some kind of wiring or component could have been disturbed in the process, which is what Pushrod is suggesting -- using a diagnostic tool to narrow down the source of the concern by finding the related trouble code and drilling down.
