Thought fuel pump bad but it is fine. Problem appears to be electrical in nature. It cranks but does not fine. fuel is getting to the engine

does not fine? or no fire/spark? if no spark, testing needs to be done to find out why. what was the reading on the fuel pressure test from the gauge in PSI?>>>
did not test pressure, did not have gauge. Was suppose to say "does not fire" Car turns over fine just seems to get no spark
no,can't assume no spark..you're going to have to check for spark, and check the fuel pressure.you can rent all you need at Autozone, and get your money back when you return them.
Problem was solved, had it towed to shop. They replaced the ignition coil and the fuel pressure sensor unit, car now runs better than ever
good deal, glad you got it going..don't know what they charged you,but those testing items i suggested would have saved you some $$$$$. Happy Motoring.
It was only $227 but most of that was parts, been using this shop for some time and they are reasonable and have on occasion even used a part that I provide which has saved me a lot of money. They do great work and have had no problems with what they have done.
glad to hear it. that's a good price.glad you have a good shop to go to.a good local,,trusted, independent repair shop is hard to find these days, but there are some out there.that's what i usually tell folks to look for. in a lot of cases where SOME think the DEALER is the only ones that can work on vehicles, until they get their vehicles fixed and get that BILL and flip out(lots of overhead cost)! Happy Motoring!!!
